What will I learn and how?
You can attend our training studio in Brisbane in person, or join us online from anywhere in Australia, where you’ll work with our team of professional design experts. All our teachers understand the criminal justice system, and some also have recent lived experience themselves. Don’t be nervous about coming to class—we understand the challenges you’re facing right now, which is why our business exists, and we’re all here to help.
You’ll learn to use our custom-designed learning platform, JumpStart, which we tailor made to make learning easy, interactive, fun, and rewarding. We use video tutorials throughout, so all you need to do is follow along and copy what the instructor is doing. You’ll be guided through a range of short courses using the Adobe Creative Suite, which will give you the skills you need to create designs like this…

You can either come to our Brisbane Studio, or you can participate virtually through our learning platform, JumpStart. If you choose to participate virtually, you will need two things:
- a reliable internet connection; and
- a desktop computer or laptop, that we can install the creative software onto. Once you have registered, we will arrange a time with you, to complete the software installation with you, so you are all set up and ready to go.
What happens when I graduate the bootcamp?
Once you’ve graduated from the bootcamp, you’ll have lots of new skills and be more confident using creative design tools and being online. On the last day of the bootcamp—November 16—we’ll take the time to showcase the group’s work and celebrate each other’s success. You’ll also get a certificate of attainment to keep.
Our team will provide you with guidance on the next steps you can take to find work, and we’ll do our best to partner you with recruitment agencies and workplaces that can support you in the process.
